How to Make Back to School Blondies!

Blondie Recipe
Makes 8 large blondies or lots of minis

INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 sticks (1 cup) melted butter
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup mini chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a medium bowl, mix together melted butter and brown sugar. Mix in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and fold through until mixture is about halfway combined. Add in chocolate chips, and continue mixing.
5. Pour batter into a 9” x 13” pan that has been lined with aluminum foil and greased with cooking spray, then bake for 23-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
6. Let blondies cool in the pan completely, then remove with foil sling.

Buttercream Frosting Recipe

INGREDIENTS
2 cups powdered sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
2-3 T milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
1. Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk to reach desired consistency, then mix in vanilla extract.
