Instructions
Basic Royal Icing Sprinkles
  1. Whisk together powdered sugar and meringue powder, then add in water 2 T at a time, mixing after each addition. Continue adding water until desired consistency is reached. Color icing as needed. I colored mine as follows:
  2. Regular sprinkles: Yellow, orange, hot pink, turquoise, lilac, and lime green.
  3. Milk and Cookies: A bit of cocoa powder and yellow food color for cookies.
  4. Emojis: Yellow, black, and blue (if not using heart sprinkles for eyes, also color some icing red).
  5. Pipe out and decorate sprinkles, then let set for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  6. Optional: for fondant sprinkles to mix into funfetti sprinkles, simply roll out fondant into a thin sheet, cut out shapes using mini cookie cutters (or a straw for circle sprinkles), then let harden at room temp overnight.
Donut Sprinkles
  1. Dip Cheerios in chocolate, then sprinkle over mini sprinkles.
