Are you ready for back-to-school? “YES!!” Wow, that’s amazing!! I love your positive attitude! You know what would make back-to-school even better? “Cute notebooks?” Incredible — I was just thinking the same thing! Aaaand lucky for you, today I have four super kawaii notebooks that I’ll show you how to DIY! We really do think alike, huh? In any case, enjoy the video and I wish you all a fantastic first day of school!!

- Glue Stick- I like the Uhu brand
Why use a glue stick instead of Mod Podge?
In my first trial, I used Mod Podge as the glue to stick down the notebook cover and I got tons of air bubbles once I brushed the layer of Mod Podge on top. I think it’s because the Mod Podge didn’t adhere the paper very well to the notebook cover, and the top coat layer of Mod Podge really revealed those spots. If you look closely in the video, you might notice that I actually remade the Pop-Tart cover! So instead, I recommend using a glue stick to stick down your paper, and just make sure you cover ever inch of your paper with the glue stick. I know, it seems excessive, but it really makes a difference once you brush over the top coat! If you get any air bubbles still, just heat up the cover a bit with a heat gun/blowdryer, and then press down on the air bubbles.
