DIY Snowglobes that make for adorable room decor and presents! 😀
Supply List
- Baby food jars
- Acrylic paint for lids and charms
- Polymer clay (found at craft stores – this variety pack is good)
- Sprinkles (or glitter for water snowglobes)
- E6000 glue (or any similarly strong glue)
- Polymer clay glaze (if doing water snow globes, you have to glaze the charms so the glitter won’t stick to the clay. I’ve heard that clear nail polish works in a pinch too.)
For water snow globes, you’ll also need distilled water and glycerin. The glycerin can be purchased from any craft store in the baking aisle, but I found that it’s optional (it just makes the glitter fall a bit slower). For water snowglobes, simply mix 1 cup of distilled water and 4 tsp glycerin, then pour into jars. You may seal the jars with glue if desired, but be sure to use a clear glue. White glue will likely cloud the water.
