DIY Easter Egg Bath Bombs

These Easter Egg bath bombs are the perfect alternative to the pricier store-bought ones! 😀

Supplies

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup citric acid
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup epsom salt
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 2-3 tsp water, depending on humidity (2 tsp worked for me on a rainy day, likely use 3 tsp on a normal day)
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp essential oil
  • Soap / food color
  • Plastic Easter Eggs

Directions

  1. Whisk together baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and epsom salt until combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, water, essential oil, and coloring. While whisking continuously, add wet ingredients to dry only a few drops at a time. This is very important, and I learned it the hard way! It will take some time to incorporate everything so just be patient 🙂
  3. Immediately press into Easter Egg
