Ingredients
Cinnamon Roll Filling
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 T ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Icing
- 3 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 T milk

Instructions
Cinnamon Roll Dough
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine flour, yeast, and salt.
- In a microwave safe container, combine water, butter, milk, and sugar. Heat in the microwave until melted and warm. Slowly drizzle this into your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook attachment. Add in one egg, then knead with dough hook for 4 minutes or by hand for 4 minutes. Add flour one tablespoon at a time if dough is too sticky. Let dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 200 F, then turn it off when it reaches 200 F. This is where you'll allow the rolls to rise.
- Roll out cinnamon roll dough into a 16" x 9" rectangle, then spread cinnamon roll filling on top. Leave a 1" border on the bottom long edge of the dough. Roll dough with your fingertips, starting from the long end without a border. Pinch the seam to seal, then cut roll into 12 pieces.
- Arrange pieces in a 13" x 9" baking dish greased with cooking spray. Place pan in warmed oven and let rise for 20-25 minutes or until doubled in size. Remove rolls, then turn oven to 375F. Once oven is preheated, bake the rolls for 15-18 minutes.

- Melt butter in the microwave, then stir in sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Cream Cheese Icing
- Mix cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and milk.
