Ingredients
Vanilla Cake
- 1 cup flour
- 6 T sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 6 T butter
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Buttercream Frosting
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 10 T butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 T milk
- Gel food color (optional)

Instructions
Vanilla Cake
- Preheat Easy Bake oven for 20 minutes and grease pans with cooking spray.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate microwave safe bowl or pitcher, melt together butter and milk at 30 second intervals. Mix in vanilla, then pour into dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into greased cake pans, filling them up 2/3 of the way. Bake for 11 minutes and let cool completely before decorating.
Buttercream Frosting
- Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in vanilla, then add enough milk to reach desired consistency. Color with food color if desired.
